Cub Scout Programs
Your scouts will have a great day working on their badges at the Kalamazoo Nature Center where our experienced staff will guide Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelo scouts in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
Special Cub Scout Badge Days
The next Cub Scout Days will be on November 15, 2008. You can choose a 10:00am OR 1:00pm program. To register for the Special Scout Days, a prepayment of $5.00 per scout is required. Please call (269) 381-1574 ext. 10 to check availability and register with guest services. Please register by Monday, November 10, 2008. Leaders are free and additional adults pay a program fee of $3.00 which can be paid the day of the program. Spaces fill fast, so register early!
Wolf scouts will earn Your Living World (not 7d) and Electives 13d, 14d, and 18g
Bear scouts will earn Sharing Your World with Wildlife and Elective 12b
Webelos can earn Geologist activity pin and belt loop, AND/OR Naturalist activity pin and Wildlife Conservation belt loop. The two programs are offered for Webelos and they can sign up for one (AM or PM) or both (one in the AM and one in the PM) and stay all day. Programs Offered Year-Long
These programs are also offered on weekdays—after school, school holidays, select weekends, and the summer, too! The programs last about 1 ½ hours. The cost is $5/ boy with a minimum of $50/program. Leaders are free; additional adults and children pay a program fee.
- Tiger scouts will earn Let’s Go Outside
- Wolf scouts will earn Your Living World (not 7d) and Electives 13d, 14d, and 18g
- Bear scouts will earn Sharing Your World with Wildlife and Elective 12b
- Webelos can choose Forester Activity Badge, Naturalist Activity Badge and Wildlife Conservation Belt Loop or Geologist Activity Badge and Geology Belt Loop.
