Outdoor Explorations for Homeschoolers

During the 2012-2013 school year the Kalamazoo Nature Center will offer a series of environmental education programs developed especially for homeschoolers ages 4 to 12.
Program sessions are offered once a month on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons. Weather permitting, all programs have an outdoor portion at the Nature Center.

Winter Closings:

Homeschool Programs will be cancelled if Plainwell Public Schools are cancelled. If programs are cancelled due to weather, they will be rescheduled for the following week. School Closings at WWMT.com

• Programs begin PROMPTLY at 1 p.m. and last 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on child’s age.
• A portion of most programs will be held outdoors, so please dress appropriately.
• Handouts will be available as appropriate.
• Non-participating family members are welcome to remain at the Interpretive Center at no additional cost.
• You must pre-register — no walk-ins, please!
