Bring your class to the Kalamazoo Nature Center!
2012-2013 School Programs

School groups, meet your K-8 GLCE through fun and active learning ... call today to reserve a space for your class OR let us come to you!

At KNC, your students can:

•  Learn about life cycles by exploring a forest.
•  Get a first-hand view of Michigan’s geological history by collecting fossils from the side of a huge moraine.
•  Bring history to life by doing chores at a log cabin or in a Potawatomi garden.
•  Experience natural history through fun and active learning!

All of our classes complement the Common Core Standards, the Next Generation Science Standards , the State of Michigan’s Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE) and the Battle Creek Math and Science Kits, and we will work with teachers to design a special program or to develop activities for self-guided groups.
