Session 4: July 14-July 20 Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Backpacking Trip
Orientation Meeting: 
Camp Barn June 12 from 6pm-7pm


This trip offers the backcountry experience of a lifetime as we explore the north woods and hike parts of the North Country Trail. Once at the lakeshore, head toward Munising Falls, then, hike along the lakeshore toward the amazing multi-colored sandstone cliffs. Each bend of the trail offers breathtaking view of Lake Superior. Join us as we explore the beautiful natural features of the National Lakeshore, work together and apply your leadership skills setting up camp and cooking meals. Step into the backcountry and create memories that will last forever.

Trip runs Sunday morning-Saturday night. Tents and meals are provided. Tents are shared with same gendered campers only. Campers supply sleep gear, backpack and personal items. Pre-trip orientation meeting is mandatory. Campers must attend with guardian.

Teens: Grades 9-12

Session 1 & 2:  M-F June 17th-28th|Counselor in Training
$50 members, $75 non-members

Orientation Meeting:  June 5 in the Camp classroom from 6pm-7pm. Both teen(s)and parents' presence needed.

Get a head start on your camp counseling skills with our Counselor in Training program! This two week program will give you the essential job skills and employment training experience. The first week learn how to work as a team, discover your leadership skills, and practice being a positive role model for youth. Expand your nature knowledge, learn to use games and songs to help kids grow . The second week you will be assigned a camper group and work directly with kids and counselors. This training required for consideration to participate in our teen volunteer counselor program for summer camp.
