Ecological Management and Services
The Ecological Management and Services team is a service of the Kalamazoo Nature Center designed to work with private and public landowners. From pre-project data collection to post-project monitoring, Conservation Stewardship's Ecological Management Services provides all levels of ecological management.
Recent Projects: Urban Nature Park
The Urban Nature Park project is one of many efforts to restore and revitalize downtown Kalamazoo and its waterways. Plans to restore the historic railroad bridge across Portage creek are underway.

Once a plan is developed, the team goes to work to put your plan in action. We have the training and certifications necessary to implement your plan with the highest standards of efficiency and safety using appropriate techniques including prescribed burning and biological, chemical, and mechanical controls.
