Southwest Michigan Membership Exchange

Any member of these 5 premier attractions enjoys the added benefit of free admission to all 5 organizations during the month of May.

The program is designed to celebrate our region’s cultural richness and introduce organization members to new experiences. Guests simply present their membership card from any of the five partner organizations to enjoy free admission May 1-31.  Fees may apply for special attractions and classes.

The Air Zoo • 6151 Portage Road
A Smithsonian-affiliated aerospace & science museum with over 60 rare aircraft & spacecraft, interactive exhibits, indoor amusement park-style rides, and more. Rain or shine, the Air Zoo has something for everyone.

Binder Park Zoo • 7400 Division Drive, Battle Creek
The Binder Park Zoo offers a variety of exotic animals, exhibits, and ride. Go on safari through a 50-acre “African” national park with zebra, antelope, and ostrich, and feed one of the nation’s largest herds of giraffe!

Gilmore Car Museum

The Gilmore Car Museum displays over 400 vehicles on a scenic 90-acre campus. Take a step back in time in vintage car dealerships, an authentic 1940s diner, and the iconic automobiles that put America on wheels.

Kalamazoo Institute of Arts •  435 W. South St.
The KIA offers ten galleries filled with art, plus tours, talks, art classes, and free events including Art Hops, Art Detectives, Teen Nights, ARTbreaks, and Book Talks. Join at

Kalamazoo Nature Center • 7000 N. Westnedge Ave.
Explore 1,100 acres of varied habitat with 13 nature trails. Weekly programs and activities include Animal Encounters, Creature Features, Spring Wildflower Walks, hands-on gardening programs, birding hikes, and a family program every Sunday at 2 pm. Visit the farmyard animals weekends in May.
