Ladybugs

We know how important it is to families that their children have a safe place to go while they’re at work. KNC would like to join efforts to support the community during this time by providing virtual learning support and outdoor exploration to Kalamazoo Public School (KPS) families during the virtual school year. KNC’s Learning Hub is a place where students can get support with their virtual learning, school work associated, and enjoy time outdoors exploring.

Staff will assist with students scheduled time with teachers as needed as well as with daily work that can be done at flexible times. Students will have an outdoor activity each day like pond dipping, bird watching, hiking trails, exploring the gravel pits, and group games. Kalamazoo Public School will be providing breakfast and lunch to students participating in the hub. KNC's Learning Hub is intended for KPS Option One students and is not intended for students who need one on one guidance. KNC is not responsible for students grades or course work, and students may need to complete some of their work at home.

Keeping your children as safe and healthy as possible is our number one priority in planning and executing these programs. That’s why we’ve taken several safety precautions into account and created a new set of policies specific to these programs based on CDC and ACA guidance. For more details, see the Family Handbook here. Children are in need of fun, in-person, educational experiences now more than ever! Our goal is to safely provide those experiences in a natural setting. Space is limited, sign up today!
