Kalamazoo Bronson Park Earth Day Festival 2021

Earth Day is a wonderful opportunity to join together as a community to recognize and protect our beautiful planet.

This event is organized by the Kalamazoo Earth Day Committee and supported by the Kalamazoo Nature Center, the City of Kalamazoo, and the Western Michigan University Climate Change Working Group. We are looking for volunteers for the day's activities; learn more and sign up here.

The event will include:  live music ∙ food & drinks ∙ vendors ∙ fun activities for families and kids ∙ speakers ∙ educational exhibits & displays.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Benefits of Sponsorship:

  • Recognition and Publicity of your organization through association with a City-supported, earth-friendly, family-oriented Earth Day celebration.
  • Exposure to a broad audience in the Kalamazoo community who will learn about your organization and its commitment to environmental sustainability.
  • Promotion of your organization through conversations and distribution of materials if you choose to have a booth.
  • Networking with other people and organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability, conservation efforts, and eco-awareness.

Sponsorship Levels:

GREEN Level:  $1000 ($800 is tax deductible)
For $1000, your logo will be printed on the back of all Earth Day branded products. Your name will be listed and logo placed most prominently on all Earth Day materials: Facebook page, sponsor board, tee shirt, and Earth Day promotional materials. Your name will also appear on the Earth Day banner, and you will be announced as a GREEN sponsor at the event. Sponsor name and logo needed by March 20 to insure being on the poster.

BLUE Level:  $500 ($400 is tax deductible)
For $500, your logo will be printed on the Earth Day branded products, your name and logo on the Facebook, sponsorship board, your name announced at the event, and you will be listed on the Earth Day tee shirt and on all Earth Day promotional materials. Sponsor name and logo needed by March 20 to insure being on the poster.

BROWN Level:  $250 ($200 is tax deductible)
For $250, your logo will be printed on the beautiful Earth Day tee shirts, your name and logo will appear on the Facebook, sponsorship board and your name will be announced at the event. Sponsor name and logo needed by March 20 to insure being on the poster.

Booth Rentals

Booth Types (fees are waived for sponsors):

Business: $50
For businesses to advertise or sell sustainably made, local, hand-crafted, fairly-traded, organic, natural, or earth-friendly food and drinks, products, technologies, and services.   

Non-Profits: $25
For earth-friendly, non-profit, advocacy groups to provide information on an organization's mission or activities, or to provide educational materials on environmental issues.  Non-profit groups for whom even the reduced $25 fee is a hardship, may request a fee waiver: contact Paul Clements at paul.clements@wmich.edu.  If you are notified by Paul that the fee is waived you will be automatically registered for a booth. If the fee is not waived you will need to register on this site.


Booths will be 10 ft x 10 ft.  All sponsors can reserve a booth for no additional charge.  We will provide a table and two chairs.  The Kalamazoo Farmer's Market has a roof, and canopies/tents are not usually necessary.  Booths must be set up by 11:30 am the day of the event for city inspection, and may not be removed until 5:15 pm at the end of the event.For more details, please see the 2020 Booth Policy Guidelines here. 

Deadline:  Registration deadline for booths is Monday, April 13.  All booth fees are non-refundable.
