Dig into a giant mud pit, have a blast at Nature’s Playground, zoom down the giant slip ‘n’ slide, check out fun family games, and soar through the trees on the zipline. Getting dirty never felt so good! 

Mudfest is free to KNC members and non-members with paid general admission; guest passes are not valid for this special event.

New! Show Us Your Mussels
Come learn about some amazing creatures that live in the mud - freshwater mussels! A research team from Central Michigan University, Institute for 
Great Lakes Research, will be present with their freshwater mussel conservation trailer to demonstrate the amazing lives of these freshwater "filters."

Drop-in Activities, 1-4 pm: 
Face painting | Animal Programs (Camp Barn) 
Tie Dye: You bring the material (t-shirt, bandana, etc), we’ll provide the dye.

Scheduled Activities:
1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm: Archery Programs* (Space is limited)
1 - 2 pm: Sponge Games (4th grade and under only)
3 - 4 pm: Sponge Games (5th - 8th grade only)

Fees & Details

Zipline: $10 per person for first ride; $5 per person for additional rides 

Archery: $5 per person

Food Truck: Prices vary by vendor

Ice Cream Mud Pies: $3 per serving

Zipline requirements: Participants must be at least 12 years old, wear closed-toe shoes, and weigh between 40 and 250 pounds. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Archery requirements: Participants must be at least 9 years old and wear closed-toe shoes. Participants less than 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
