Please note: The Kalamazoo Nature Center is a private nature preserve. Dogs, camping, drones, and firearms are not permitted. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trails.
KNC has wheelchairs available for use and has accessible trails (Habitat Haven and the Arboretum Trail). There is also a Quiet Room available for families, nursing mothers, and is sensory friendly.

KNC is home to miles of hiking trails, an award-winning Visitor Center, and a wide variety of programs. We also have a number of other locations for hiking, programs, and rentals, from DeLano Farms to the new Urban Nature Park in downtown Kalamazoo!
The Kalamazoo Nature Center is home to miles of trails winding through woods, wetlands, and prairies ranging from easy to difficult. Some trails are wheelchair and stroller friendly.
