You’ll be in good company as you explore the great diversity of KNC trails on these interpretive hikes with a KNC educator. We will hike at a leisurely pace to encourage observation, discovery, and conversation each month.
June 3: Walk around the Prairie Loops Trail to see what kind of prairie species are emerging for summer. Register for June 3 >
July 1: Hunt for invasive species along the Ridge Run Trail. Register for July 1 >
August 5: Get a look at a special type of wetland on the popular Habitat Haven Trail. August 5 registration coming soon.

Guest artists and authors meet to share their work, talk about their process and help guide artmaking.
June 8: Tom Springer: Nature, Essays and the Power of I. The author of Looking for Hickories and The Star in the Sycamore discusses how to turn personal experiences into stories that sell.
July 13: Renae Baumgart, Rip Studio Learn how this local artist creates unique pieces by free hand ripping repurposed wallpaper.
