Join KNC’s staff to manage aggressive, herbaceous invasive species Garlic Mustard (Alliaria petiolata) and Dame’s Rocket (Hesperis matronalis). Nature Center staff and volunteers have been working for over a decade to reduce the impact of these plants, which threaten native biodiversity and natural regeneration in Michigan habitats. Hike KNC’s beautiful trails and forests as we hand-pull these invasive species to encourage healthy ecosystems and diversity of native species. Get outside for good conversation and impactful, rewarding land management at KNC!
