Have you always wanted your own garden, where you could snip fresh herbs, harvest beautiful bouquets, and savor tomatoes still warm from the sun? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture - a chance for you to become a shareholder in our gardens, and develop a closer connection to seasonal eating. Let us do the planting and the weeding. You and your family can come out, harvest your own food and learn about how it’s grown!
DeLano Farms will have 25 spots in our herb, vegetable, and flower U-Pick. The 15 week season is planned to run from June 22 - September 28 (weather dependant). Our weekly share is sized for a couple or small family. The cost of $200/member and $230/non-member is due upon registration - an excellent value that ranges from $13/week to $15/week. Shareholders will learn how to select and harvest their own share each week. The garden is maintained to organic standards, although it is not certified.
Shareholders will visit the farm either Tuesday evening between 4:30 - 7 pm or Saturday morning, 9:00 am - noon, to harvest herbs, vegetables, and flowers with guidance from farm staff. Families are encouraged to bring their children, and recipes will be shared. Learn about where your food comes from, and harvest it at its peak!
Space is limited - sign up today! Questions? Contact Lisa Panich at email@example.com or (269) 381-1574 ext. 38. There are no refunds for Delano Farms CSA.
