SCHOOL’S OUT DAY CAMPS

November 14, December 10, 22 & 30

Join the KNC Camp staff for a day of fun while school is out for Kalamazoo Public Schools.  Kids will meet at the Camp Barn for a day of fun and exploration in nature.

Habitat Haven Temporarily Closed for Improvements 11/14/25

The Habitat Haven Trail at KNC is getting an upgrade! With the trail’s easy proximity to the Visitor Center’s accessible parking spaces, and our recent acquisition of Grit and Trek all-terrain wheelchairs, it has been an important priority that we have a safe and improved trail for our visitors. Thanks to our generous donors, we have hired Trailsense, a Michigan-Based trail design and construction company, to resurface the trail. Avian Arts Exhibition 2026

KNC invites artists and photographers of all ages to showcase their creative talents for the Avian Arts Exhibition contest. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or an avid birdwatcher with a camera, this contest is a great way to engage with nature, express your artistic vision, and contribute to bird conservation awareness.

KNC does not accept injured or orphaned animals and is not a licensed wildlife rehabilitator.
