Dear KNC Camp families,
We sincerely hope this message finds you safe and well during your ongoing experience of the coronavirus pandemic. KNC continues to work remotely to make the best decisions to support your family with summer programming and keep our community safe.
We have continued to stay abreast of the most current information regarding coronavirus at the local, state, and national level. All information indicates that inviting groups of children and families together, even with significant modifications in place, remains unsafe for our children, families, and staff. Though we understand the great impact on families, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our summer camp sessions through the remainder of this season.
We believe summer programming is valuable for families and an essential part of growth and well being for our young ones. We have nearly completed our alternative plans for summer programming. Information will be emailed to all current KNC Camp families, posted on our website, and shared via social media on June 12.
The following options are available for families currently registered in KNC Camp sessions:
1) Families may elect a full refund of their KNC Camp fee.
2) Families may support KNC by converting their refund to a tax-deductible donation.
If you decide to donate please email the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, June 19. If we don’t hear from you by this date you will receive a full refund for all registered sessions.
Although we will not see you at KNC Camp in the weeks ahead, we do hope your household is able to get out and safely enjoy time in nature. KNC grounds are now open 7 days a week! Additionally, we will soon be opening other onsite programs as well as staying connected through virtual programs.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding KNC Camp, please reach out via email to our Camp Director, Tanequa Hampton, at email@example.com.
