Welcome to Summer Camp!

Weekly camps for Age 4 – Grade 8  |  June 13 – August 12
Summers at KNC are full of adventure, excitement, and fun. Many campers come to call KNC camp their home away from home. They enjoy weekly themes, take on new adventures, make new friends, and learn to have a positive impact on the natural world. Campers will splash around in Nature’s Playground, explore the gravel pits, and horse around with our farmyard friends. Older campers will explore team-building courses, onsite adventures, and campouts! We welcome kids of all abilities and will work closely with you to make sure your child has a great experience.

Keeping your children safe and healthy is our number one priority. That’s why we’ve reorganized drop off and pick up, modified daily activities, added staff, and incorporated safety precautions based on CDC and ACA guidance. Learn more in the Guardian Handbook here >

Financial Assistance  We are grateful to a KNC donor community that believes all young people should have the chance to enjoy and learn from formative, summer experiences. Our donors make it possible for KNC to minimize financial barriers that would otherwise limit access to KNC Camp. Neurodiversity Naturalist Camp for Ages 5-8 & Adventure Camp for Ages 9-12

Explore nature through your own lens. These camps are aimed at supporting the needs of our campers with unique learning needs. Camp staff will be trained and supported by a teacher with a special education certification. Ratios will be 1 adult to every 3 children. All youth are welcome to register for every camp program we offer.

Nature’s Way Preschool Camps

Nature’s Way Preschool Camps are located at Nature’s Way Preschool, 4442 Oakland Dr, Kalamazoo.   

Led by our preschool teachers, each camp includes hiking, exploring in the woods, nature play, and hands on learning activities.  Please bring a snack and water bottle, wear weather appropriate clothing, and comfortable shoes that are suitable for playing in the woods.   

Nature’s Way Preschool Camp runs 9:00 a.m. – Noon, Monday-Friday.  
$195 MEMBER, $220 NON-MEMBER
