FREE admission day!

Enjoy FREE admission to KNC’s Visitor Center, trails, and exhibits all day. Celebrate the first signs of spring and check out the exciting line-up of programs happening throughout the day. Dance, drum, eat, ride, paddle, learn, hike and create in celebration of our planet!

Drop-in programs & Activities:

  • Michigan Hiryu Daiko family drumming program with special guest Native American flute artist Deanna Bush, 11 am – Noon
  • Youth Spoken Word Performance from Fire Historical and Cultural Arts Collaborative, Noon – 1 pm
  • Kalamazoo County Climate Justice and Sustainability Community Visioning Session, 12:30-2 pm
  • Earth Day Wildflower Walk, 1 – 2 pm
  • Roots of Wisdom Drop-in Tours, 1 pm & 1:30 pm
  • Rootead Community Drum and Dance, 2-3 pm
  • ModeShift Community Bike Ride, 10 am
  • Community and education tables featuring KNC programs, event sponsors, KNC’s Ardea Youth Climate Leaders, and more, 9:30 am – 2 pm
  • Kalamazoo Bee Club information table with kids’ activities and giveaways, 11 am – 2 pm
  • Kalamazoo Electric Vehicle Association Car Show, 10 am – 3 pm
  • Pick up a free seed starting kit, 11 am – 2 pm
  • Ice cream and snacks from Monarca’s, 11 am – 3 pm
