Celebrate Earth Day with us and participate in exciting activities all day long.  

  • Take part in KNC’s first official BioBlitz, a community science project to identify wildlife, with guided hikes to identify plants, insects, and more.  
  • Enjoy activities in the visitor center like crafts and listen to Earth Day-themed talks from local experts.  
  • Visit vendors for food, drink, and local businesses and artists.

Earth Day Vendor Opportunity

On April 18th, 2026, Kalamazoo Nature Center will be hosting our Earth Day celebration, a day-long event designed to promote environmental education, conservation, and research work in our community. Last year, our event brought in over 700 guests. This year, we’re hoping to have more experiences and vendors than ever, with food, artists, and local businesses.

If you are interested in joining us this year, please register below. Tables will be $25 for Non-Sales vendors (community groups, nonprofits, and others who do not intend to sell products at the event), and $50 for Sales Vendors. Earth Day Sponsorship Opportunity

Since Earth Day was first recognized in 1970, KNC has offered free admission to the community to help increase understanding and appreciation of the natural world.
