Monday, November 10
Coffee, Donuts, and Conversation 9 am -11 am
Join us for a relaxed morning of friendly conversation over coffee and donuts at the Kalamazoo Nature Center! This gathering will take place in the Cooper’s Glen Auditorium, located inside the Visitor Center. It’s a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, volunteers, and staff while enjoying a cozy start to your day surrounded by nature.
Tuesday, November 11
Birds of Prey: Feeding Experience 11 – 11:30 am
Get an up-close look at some of KNC’s resident Birds of Prey during this fascinating feeding experience! Join our animal care staff as they share insights about these incredible birds and their unique adaptations. This program will take place at the Bird Mews, located in the Arboretum. It’s a great chance to observe our birds of prey in action and learn more about how KNC cares for them year-round.
Wednesday, November 12
Additional 10% discount in gift shop
Get a head start on your holiday shopping or treat yourself to something special from the KNC Gift Shop! On this day only, KNC Members will receive an additional 10% discount on all purchases, for a total of 20% off most items. Find nature-inspired gifts, local artisan goods, books, toys, and more — all while supporting KNC’s mission.
Thursday, November 13
Members Night (21+), 5:30pm – 8pm
Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, libations, and great company as we host a brief Annual Meeting featuring updates from KNC’s CEO, Heather Graves, followed by a special presentation from Josh McCreedy of Trail Sense, who will share insights into his work and collaboration with KNC. A silent auction will also be held, offering a fun way to support KNC while bidding on unique items and experiences.
To celebrate KNC’s 65th anniversary, guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a KNC’s Trailblazer beer crafted by OneWell Brewing, created in honor of this milestone year.
Friday, November 14
Trivia Night (21+), 6 – 8 pm
Test your knowledge of nature, wildlife, and more during a fun-filled evening of trivia at KNC! Gather your friends or join a team when you arrive — prizes await the top scorers. This event will take place in the Cooper’s Glen Auditorium, located inside the Visitor Center.
Raise a glass to KNC’s 65th anniversary with a limited-edition KNC’s Trailblazer beer brewed by OneWell Brewing, available for purchase during the event. Enjoy a lively night of friendly competition, community connection, and local flavor!
