Fair Food Matters
Last year, Fair Food Matters (FFM), became a program of the Kalamazoo Nature Center. Our new relationship recognizes our shared values of equity and sustainability in the context of local education systems. One chronic inequity that faces many children in Kalamazoo County is a lack of access to fresh, healthy food from sustainable sources. In light of COVID-19, this inequity has become more pronounced than ever. Here’s how you can help!
While food equity and sustainability remain our primary focus, the challenges of COVID-19 have allowed FFM and KNC to extend our reach and impact in the local community. We are grateful for these opportunities, and for your financial support. We are confident that our staff and volunteers can continue demonstrating notable impact through modified programming during and following COVID-19. In these challenging times, your gift means more than ever. You may also wish to contribute to our in-kind needs (see below). Thank you for considering a designated gift to support FFM’s work through the Kalamazoo Nature Center!
