Adopt a Trail

Do you have favorite trails at KNC? Trails that you enjoy visiting in all seasons, or that have special meaning to you?

The Kalamazoo Nature Cente’rs Adopt-A-Trail Program provides a way for individuals and businesses to sponsor maintenance on KNC’s extensive trail system. It is a great way to demonstrate that you care for trails that current and future generations will enjoy.

Your trail adoption is good for one year from the month of purchase.

Trail adoption – $50 – Includes adoptee’s name on our website, personalized certificate of adoption, information on your trail, and Adopt-A-Trail Sticker.

Add-on options are as follows:
For an additional $50.00 – adoptions include an Adopt-A-Trail Magnet to represent your care and stewardship of KNC trails.
For an additional $450 – adoptions include an Adopt-A-Trail Magnet and Permanent Nameplate on Trailhead Signage.

Please note: Nameplates are placed twice annually. Adoptions received between September 1 and March 31 will be installed in May, and adoptions received between April 1 and August 31 will be installed in October.
