KNC’s Michigan Butterfly Network welcomes participants of all experience levels to this in-person this training workshop to learn how to identify Michigan butterflies and monitor a butterfly route. MIBN staff will lead a walk through KNC’s Emma Pitcher Prairie and discuss the “Pollard walk” protocol, completing data sheets, and butterfly identification. New monitors must have attended or viewed the recording of the virtual Butterfly Monitor Training held on May 13th.
