Summer CSA at DeLano Farms

Price: Full Share $500/KNC Member, $550/Mon-Member
Half Share $350/KNC Members, $350/Non-Member

Thanks for your interest in the DeLano Farms vegetable, herb, and flower U-Pick CSA. The summer season runs June to September (weather dependent). Our weekly full-sized share is designed for a couple or small family. A half share is for a single person or a couple looking to add fresh local veggies to their meals. Like our full share, it will vary in size depending on the season, from 3-4 items in early June to 7-8 items during the peak of the harvest in August and September. It will feature the most abundant produce of the week, and like our full share, it will allow shareholders to enjoy some pre-harvested items and venture into our garden to harvest others. Shareholders will learn how to select and harvest their own share of herbs, vegetables, and flowers with guidance from farm staff. Families are encouraged to bring their children, and recipes will be shared. Learn about where food comes from and harvest it at its peak!
Our farm is community supported agriculture (a CSA). Our product isn’t individual pints of tomatoes or bunches of kale; our product is our farm and a weekly share of all that we produce. This helps guarantee farm income even on rainy days, allows us to trial new growing methods and offer a wider array of food and flowers. Each week our shareholder community visits the farm at KNC‘s historic Delano Homestead at 357 West E Avenue to pick-up and harvest an ever-changing abundance of what’s in season. Our farmers and interns are there to help you harvest, and to answer any questions about our growing techniques.
Pick up days are Tuesdays from 4-7 pm or Saturdays from 9 am – Noon. Choose your pick up time at registration.

FAQ on the CSA:

  • If we must cancel due to weather, we make every attempt to reschedule
