KNC Main Campus

KNC’s main location at 7000 N. Westnedge Avenue includes over 1,100 acres of forest, wetland, and prairie with miles of trails.  The Visitor Center is home to award-winning exhibits, with a wide variety of programs for all ages and interests. The Main Campus is also home to KNC Camp!

DeLano Farms

DeLano Homestead

DeLano Farms at 555 West E Avenue, features the 1800s DeLano Homestead, a seasonal CSA, miles of hiking trails, and more. Your visit is included with regular KNC admission, just check in at the main Welcome Station for a DeLano Day Pass. The DeLano Homestead is open during special events.

Heronwood

Heronwood Field Station

Heronwood Field Station, a 5000 square foot ecological field station located on over 60 acres, is the home to several projects and programs for students and adults. The station features fully equipped laboratories and a GIS station.

Nature's Way Preschool

Our award-winning nature preschool, located on Oakland Drive in Kalamazoo, offers experiences typically found in child-centered programs with thirty acres of natural areas serving as an extension of the classroom. Registration opens in February for the following year.

Stryker Nature Preserve

Stryker Barn

Stryker Nature Preserve is currently being renovated. More information will be available soon on this exciting project adjacent to Nature’s Way Preschool in Kalamazoo.
